Legendary Manchester United full-back Denis Irwin today celebrates his 60th birthday.
The Irishman arrived at Old Trafford in 1990 from Oldham Athletic and would go on to win 7 Premier League titles, 2 FA Cups, a League Cup and the Champions League in his 12 years as a red - he was also part of the historic treble winning team in the 1998/99 season.
Irwin made 529 appearances for United between 1990 and 2002, scoring 33 goals - many of which were penalties. He would end his career at Wolves where he spent two seasons after leaving M16, before hanging up his boots in 2004.
